Backstage visits

Let us show you what it’s like to peek behind the curtain and take an exclusive backstage visit to some of Paris’ most intriguing sites and attractions.

Working with one of our carefully selected tour purveyors, we have curated a variety of exclusive, limited Backstage Visits and private experiences that provide a look at a side of Paris most people never see.

But as a guest of Fauchon L'hôtel Paris, we can get you premier access.

Let us help you go backstage at the Opéra Bastille and Palais Garnier to explore areas not open to the general public.
For someone who is into engineering and the inner workings of one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Eiffel Tower where you will explore the engine room that operates the Eiffel Tower elevators. You will also have the opportunity to ascend to the top of the world-famous Jules Verne Restaurant for VIP views of Paris. This tour is so exclusive that there is a very small number of people who participate and you are able to enjoy this incredibly popular monument without all of the hustle and bustle that accompany other tours.

Another option for an exclusive backstage tour might be to visit the Gobelin Paris factory, part of the French Ministry of Culture, which still produces incredible tapestries using age-old techniques and century-old wooden looms. An intriguing part of the behind-the-scenes tour is that you get to watch trained artisans at work.

Other off-the-beaten-track style visits can be arranged for destinations that hold particular interest for you. Due to our long-standing reputation in Paris, we can get you exclusive access to venues and spaces usually closed to the public including access to private areas of museums and galleries where, using iPad’s to show specific works and guided by a professional speaker, you get an insider’s look at details and information that few are able to learn. A wide variety of language translations are available on any of these tours for your convenience.

Reservations: Must be made approximately 48 hours in advance with the Guest Relations.
